History
We opened the first Tool Medic service center in Boise Idaho in 2006, but it was
long prior to this opening that we learned the value of good customer service. For
three generations our companies have provided products and services to the construction,
manufacturing, and automotive trades. Our decision to launch a division dedicated
to tool service was made easy by the fact that throughout most of our 38+ years
we were consistently urged to expand the list of equipment we repaired. Customers
complained that it took weeks to inspire their service repair vendors to even evaluate
their repairs. This meant that a single back up tool was frequently not enough,
costing them time and money. Likewise they complained that when they did finally
get a tool back, it did not perform as they had hoped and frequently the tool was
headed back for service right away. They also longed for a one stop shop, where
they could get most, if not all, their equipment serviced. They wanted to have a
repair center that they could trust; one that performed prompt and cost effective repairs. They expressed that they wanted a place to source the highest quality accessories and where they could find competitively priced consumables. Understanding these
needs, we were inspired to open the first Tool Medic.
Our Goals
-Evaluate any tool we recieve within 72 hours.
-Once we have confirmed that the repair can be completed within the customer's budget,
have any parts, not in stock, ordered within 24 business hours.
-Once the parts have been recieved, install and complete the repair within 48 business
hours.
-Test every completed repair and confirm that it is safe, and ready for use.
